October Dark and light: Inspired by the ‘two sentence’ horror stories I have decided to embark on a similar theme but mixing it up with one day of dark and menacing suggestion and the next of light and cheerful. Monday – Friday snippets from your Art Philosopher until All Hallows’ Eve is over…
Live on BBC Radio Nottingham ~ tomorrow~ Wednesday the 7th October at 2pm on the Verity Cowley show.

There’s always a dark side to finding banknotes you never knew you had. Maybe someone’s going to knock on his door asking for the service he promised to provide for twenty quid.

college days. i remember one early morning i found myself in a laundry room behind the washing machine after a night of forgetting. don’t know how i ended up there. then two giant socks entered the room and started talking about how it’s always the way that you find one person but not the matching pair. i set out that day to find my other half…and then our mutual friend Rod Serling came in and tried to sell all of us a pack of smokes…*)

Ah…Shel Silverstein’s missing piece is brought to my mind, my sweet. Laundry room smoking ~ this is also how Rod introduced Snowden to Socrates. *)
