I can hear the wind whistling through the belfry, the crack of distant thunder, portending rain pattering against the window, and the moaning the restless, recently departed in the hallway outside of your door.

Everyone needs a scapegoat…
I don’t know about a scarecrow. I’ll ask. Maybe for the next Wizard of Oz remake? (a star is born)

The dark version where Dorothy, The Tin man, the Lion and (me) the Scarecrow are terribly sinister..

she was the daughter of Dorothy and the Scarecrow. the Wizard fixed everything, though, it all went back to normal. Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and their daughter ran that rusted gold brick road out of Oz as fast as they could before the Wizard realized he had no powers…*)

And she ran really, really fast because now she had legs with feet on and everything so she took her mothers red shoes, (even though they pinched a bit) and scarpered! *)
