I am always interested in continuing my extensive studies into human behaviour. It helps me maintain excellent profiling and mentalist skills (don’t laugh because I have ways of making you talk) I have seven questions below which I’d like you (my lovely readers) to answer as part of my study group. I don’t want you to think about them too much and prefer you answer with your first thought / feeling as this is your truth. I won’t use any of your answers against you (not for long, anyway)

Thank you for your participation now…GO!

1: Given half the chance, would you?

2: If you knew it was going to hurt, would you still do it?

3: You are moved, captivated, excited by….?

4: Is the bounty worth the risk?

5: Open or closed?

6: Two doors in front of you: One is what you’ve always known the other is a new experience. Which one?

7: Who are you?

1: Given half the chance, would you?

Ah, the contextless question. I probably wouldn’t.

2: If you knew it was going to hurt, would you still do it?

No. I try and avoid hurt in both myself and others.

3: You are moved, captivated, excited by….?

Creating.

4: Is the bounty worth the risk?

I don’t like coconut.

5: Open or closed?

Open behind closed doors.

6: Two doors in front of you: One is what you’ve always known the other is a new experience. Which one?

Whilst I am open to new experiences without knowing what the experience on offer was i’d go through the safe door.

7: Who are you?

I am my brain.

These questions are very open and with just a little more detail every answer would probably be completely different. As such:
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. A well written line, either song, poem or prose.
4. Yes
5. Closed
6. New experience
7. One of my favorite songs and contains one of my favorite lines:
I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said “You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away”

1: Given half the chance, would you?

Only if of mutual benefit or, in a pinch, to myself.

2: If you knew it was going to hurt, would you still do it?

See one above.

3: You are moved, captivated, excited by….?

My soulmate.

4: Is the bounty worth the risk?

There is either a calculus applied or there is impulse. The answer is dependent upon those mechanics of nature. For the former, the universe can burn away before an answer resolves, for the latter, the question (let alone the answer) is probably entirely superfluous.

5: Open or closed?

Open. The progress of transparency is only limited as much as cogitation is languid and, by comparison, combustion is instantaneous.

6: Two doors in front of you: One is what you’ve always known the other is a new experience. Which one?

Such a fell question, replete with unflattering mirrors reflecting the truth of lies we use to pad the unyielding corners of our psyche.

I believe the truth, my truth, is that the fading and eventual disappearance of a mind’s youthful elasticity induces caution. This in combination with wealth, even relative wealth, floods my neural pathways with an intoxicating drug of attraction to the pliant, the yielding and self-aggrandizing comfort.

And like any drug, it should be used sparingly and with caution.

7: Who are you?

Mostly, I am you.

I get the distinct impression that you gave this a lot of thought using the mathematical study of derivatives, reason and change.

Throw caution to the wind, Dean for it keeps you a slave when you should be master of your dreams.

You are me? Jesus, you wanna be careful cos that’s dangerous! Or is that one of those you are me and I am you and we are us and all as one type of mad things that totally confuse me?

How do you define life? By love and by being loved? By what the world values? By a pile of purloined loot? By being a something-something that you can strut and boast of? By the capricious conditions of birth?

It’s very hard to fit me snugly into a box based on any generally accepted criteria, Jules. I suspect that’s true of all of your commenters.

People live their whole lives accumulating money, which is useful but in is essence, just old paper. Wares and such do have value, but they do not value the person that holds them.

I was surprised at your first answer especially since the second answer was yes. Hmmm.. I will be quizzing you on this.

Totally with you on number 3. However, it is through my mind and my mind only that sexual desire is created for me. Someone able to get into your head.

1. Yes!
2. Depends. If it were a great love experience, yes. Falling down a flight of stairs, not so much.
3. Beauty, passion, love, nature, great stories, sexy songs.
4. If material bounty only, possibly and probably not. If it’s something that makes the heart happy…any day!
5. Open! Might get claustrophobic otherwise.
6. Who am I…wow. Creative, strong, fun, passionate, loyal, more intelligent than I like to let on, and likely more than a little nuts. 😉

1. I say “yes” because it seems like the cool thing to say but I doubt I’d do it.

2. I have a very low threshold for pain. What do you mean, exactly? Stubbing my toe pain or working on a Saturday pain?

3. Random personality quizzes.

4. Ask someone in jail if it was worth it.

5. Open.

6. Despite my reserved nature, I’m opening the new experience door. Hope I don’t regret it.

7. I don’t know who I am anymore. I used to know but that was a long time ago.

I love how people answer these. So, Mark, you’re a little bit hesitant because it’s all so unclear. I wouldn’t go for stubbing my toe, that bloody hurts but I know I can take emotional pain if I wanted to. It all depends what comes to your mind when you read the question and this is how I start to figure you out by your answers.

Hello Aditi the adventurer! What great answers. Another girl with a spirited essence. Do you know what, I knew somebody would ask me and I had a specific person in mind who I thought that would be but I never thought it would be you, Aditi. I need to work harder on my profiling.

OK, since you asked, I will oblige:

1: Given half the chance, would you? Absolutely.

2: If you knew it was going to hurt, would you still do it? Yes

3: You are moved, captivated, excited by….? Mental dalliance and then some, adventure, creation, behaviour, love, passion and connection.

4: Is the bounty worth the risk? Yes

5: Open or closed? Open but with lock and key ready.

6: Two doors in front of you: One is what you’ve always known the other is a new experience. Which one? New experience.

7: Who are you? Ruby Tuesday awaiting rescue.

2: If you knew it was going to hurt, would you still do it? No. I hate pain. Been there, done that.

3: You are moved, captivated, excited by….? the first song in the movie Closer. It made me cry, what, 30 seconds into the movie. I never cry.

4: Is the bounty worth the risk? Always.

5: Open or closed? Open.
