Spiders
In a realm where spiders spin the thread,
A vehicle with allure and style bred,
legs, sleek wheels, an arachnid’s grace,
Zooms through the night, a thrilling race.
Soft engines purring, a gentle hum,
Under magic skies, the spider comes,
A sports car marvel to behold,
On roads where dreams and reality fold.
The asphalt gives its silken domain,
Phobias transformed into pleasure’s gain,
Roaming the highways, weaving the breeze,
With chrome-tinged fangs and glossy ease.
Racing curves, loops with prowess,
A web of tracks to quenching excess,
Weaving through traffic, spinning through time,
In a sports car guise, a paradigm.
Spider-spun lines of luxurious speed,
In a world where surreal fantasies feed,
A creature of marvel and mechanical might,
The engine arachnid, the spider of night.

Did you go and buy a Fiat Spider, or is this merely a flight of artistic fancy? Unless you confess, there is no way for me to know. However, I do like the drawing and the literary journey – down the spider hole. And who knows what awaits?
Oh, I know what’s down the spider hole in the dark recesses of the loam…a spider.

Ah, it’s all a flight of artistic fantasy, LL! I’d obviously buy an Aston Martin if I was going down the sporty route! For now, the pick up suits me and I can fly my pirate flag from the roof. You can’t do that on sports cars.

Spider-Man’s car!!! when Spider-Man can’t get around the city on account of he’s run out of wrist web fluid, which is happening more and more frequently these days. Mary-Jane Watson is a cheap date, all she needs is her man and a quick trip to a Home Depot and the tiger zoo. and that shield on the front of the car there is Link’s anniversary present for Princess Zelda.

Yes, this IS Spiderman’s car. I keep it at Chipmunk mansion though, in the underground garage. Tom Holland comes to get it from there. He likes to have English chats with me about crustless cucumber sandwiches and we drink a fruity Pimms. Sometimes, Garfield comes out of the mansion after a long snooze looking for food. Then I yawn and I leave because I’m busy writing Hollywood scripts and drawing illustrations. I don’t have time for you, Spiderman, I say rudely. I’m too Hollywood for you. Despicable me.

Great writing. But you need to add the blanket, picnic lunch of bacon sammies, and a lemon car cake for the mid trip brunch. Ohh, and beverage of choice.
